摘要:比较了凹凸棒石黏土(以下简称凹土)与碳酸钙加填纸张的填料留着性能、对网下白水的影响以及对纸张理化性能的影响,并对填充机理进行了分析。结果显示,经良好水化分散后凹土纤维可与植物纤维通过氢键力紧密结合,这种作用方式与碳酸钙有显著区别。凹土是一种高保留填料,留着率一般在80%以上,可显著提高纸张灰分、降低网下白水浊度。凹土加填的纸张具有较好的强度性能,尤其在高加填量时纸张的强度显著优于碳酸钙加填纸。
Abstract:In this paper the retention properties, the influence on white water and the mechanical properties of the paper were compared when attapulgite and calcium carbonate were employed as paper filler, and the mechanism of the filling process was discussed. Results showed that, attapulgite fibers could be closely integrated with pulp fibers through hydrogen bonding force under sufficient hydrated treatment, and this binding mode was significantly different from the calcium carbonate. Attapulgite was a high retention paper filler which ash retention was generally above 80%, it could significantly improve the paper ash content and turbidity of the white water. Attapulgite could not deteriorate the mechanical properties of the paper. As a filler it was significantly superior than the calcium carbonate particularly under high filling content.
