Abstract:The application and classification of carrier tape in electronic packaging and transportation industry were introduced, and the advantages of paper carrier tape were illustrated by comparison. Finally this paper focused on the production and development status of paper carrier tape and the structure and preparation process of the base paper used for manufacturing the paper carrier tape．
