Abstract:In this study, surface-modified multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were used to prepare conductive film based on nano crystalline cellulose (NCC). Firstly the NCC particles were dissolved in the NaOH-urea-water system, then the MWCNTs modified by 3-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane (MPS) were added into the system, finally the mixture system was used to prepare film after ultrasonic dispersing. The conductive films were characterized using scanning electron microscope (SEM), fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV-VIS spectrophotometer, and conductivity meter. The results showed that the MWCNTs modified by MPS dispersed in the NCC films uniformly. Compared with the control group, the chemical structures of NCC film was affected by the surfaced-modified MWCNTs slightly, while the crystallinity of the NCC film contained 10wt% modified MWCNTs was increased by 44.8% and the absorption to the ray between 200 nm and 550 nm was enhanced and the tensile strength was declined by 57.8%. The conductivity of the film reached 4.66 mS/cm and the electrical resistivity was 214.6 Ω·cm when the content of surfaced-modified MWCNTs was 6wt%. |
