Abstract:In this study, 13X microporous molecular sieves and SBA-15 mesoporous molecular sieves were functionalized and modified, and then were prepared into a kind of composite molecular sieve by post synthesis method. The structure of the composite molecular sieve was characterized by various methods. Finally, the treatment effect of the wastewater from the middle stage of papermaking was evaluated. The physical characterization experiment showed that the synthesized composite molecular sieve had both microporous and mesoporous structures, with a specific surface area of 620.2 m2/g, a total pore volume of 1.15 cm3/g, and an average pore size of 6.18 nm. The wastewater treatment experiments showed that under the conditions of 60℃, molecular sieve dosage of 1.0 g/L, pH value of 7.8, and adsorption time of 60 mins, the removal rates of chroma, SS and CODCr in papermaking wastewater by composite molecular sieve were 98.8%, 85.7% and 81.4%, respectively. The regeneration test showed that the modified composite molecular sieve had good regeneration and adsorption performance and could be reused for many times. |
