Abstract:The level and stability of the coating coverage rate are important factors affecting the quality of reconstituted tobacco by papermaking method. To determine the optimum technological parameters for coating coverage rate of reconstituted tobacco, the effects of coating liquid temperature, coating liquid concentration, contact time and coating roller pressure were studied by single-factor experiment and orthogonal experiment. Besides, through the modification of coating liquid feeding system, the stability of coating rate was improved. The results showed that in the test range, as the concentration of coating liquid and contact time increased, the coating rate increased. The coating rate increased first and then decreased with the increase of coating liquid temperature. As the pressure of the coating roller increased, the coating rate decreased. The preferable technological parameters were coating liquid temperature of 50℃, coating liquid concentration of 48%, contact time of 0.20 s and coating roller pressure of 8 kN/m. By improving the coating liquid feeding system, the stabilities of coating rate, coating liquid concentration, and temperature were improved. After optimizing the process parameters and improving the coating liquid feeding system, the sensory quality of the reconstituted tobacco was significantly improved, and the coating coverage rate was increased by 13.1%. |
